hi my name is Jackie
me & Andrew met in 1982 got engaged in 1984 and married in 1987 we lived in methley for 10 years.we
have 5 wonderful children 4 boys Thomas,Richard,Joshua,Jamie and finally a daughter Gemma. we moved
to castleford in 1997. Andrew became ill in 2004 here my daughter explains.
Dad had a bonemarrow transplant in 2007.
He was suffering from a blood disorder which could develop in to leukemia from 2004.
Dad died of septic shock, graft versus host disease, allogeneic stem cell transplantation.
our dad was the best dad in the whole wide world and best husband to our Mum.
Dad loved driving wagons, - especially his scania topline, He loved to take one of us with him on a
saturday morning.
favourite music - wet wet wet,Robbie Williams, mambo no 5, queen, meatloaf, Simply red,
stereophonics, He even listened to Westlife, Mum's favourite. we all loved to hear dad singing he
was so happy.
Dad's favourite place was: Temple newsam, he loved to walk round the pond's and clear the
waterfalls.Dad loved going round pontepark with all of us.
loved walking our rottweiler - Zak.
Loved cooking, especially our BBQ,
also, loved gardening.
Liked going on day trips with family
He liked watching F1.
He liked simpsons and even liked emmerdale.
He supported Leeds United & Castleford Tigers.
When Dad was poorly, Mum bought him a tropical fishtank, He loved to feed his fish. It made him
relax watching them.
Dads favourite films that he loved to watch were The labyrinth, drop dead fred, jack frost, and his
favourite which was disneys jungle book.
Dad was a lovely man and he shall never be forgotten.

ONE NIGHT I DREAMED A DREAM
I WAS WALKING ALONG THE BEACH WITH MY LORD
ACROSS THE DARK SKY FLASHED SCENES FROM MY LIFE
FOR EACH SCENE,I NOTICED TWO SETS OF FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND-
ONE BELONGED TO ME AND ONE TO MY LORD.
WHEN THE LAST SCENE OF MY LIFE SHOT BEFORE ME
I LOOKED BACK AT THE FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND
THERE WAS ONLY ONE SET OF FOOTPRINTS.
I REALISED THAT THIS WAS AT THE LOWEST
AND SADDEST TIMES OF MY LIFE,
THIS BOTHERED ME,SO I QUETIONED THE LORD
ABOUT MY DILEMMA.....
LORD, YOU TOLD ME WHEN I DECIDED TO FOLLOW YOU,
YOU WOULD WALK AND TALK WITH ME ALL THE WAY,
BUT DURING THE MOST TROUBLESOME TIMES OF MY LIFE,
THERE WAS ONLY ONE SET OF FOOTPRINTS
I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY,WHEN I NEEDED YOU MOST,
YOU LEFT ME
HE WHISPERED ' my precious child,
i love you and will never leave you,
never ,ever,during your trials and testings,
when you saw only one set of footprints,
IT WAS THEN THAT I CARRIED YOU.

There`s a pain beyond imagining
that`s burning in our heart
for suddenly our whole world
has been cruely ripped apart
The only source of comfort
are our memories & the love
